What are the availability of your stocks?

All watches marked as “AVAILABLE” are shipped to you within 24-48 hours upon confirmation of your payment via USPS mail service.

All watches marked as “PRE-SALE” are shipped 3 weeks after payment is received.  Since the whole process of building your preferred watch is very tedious and laborious, pls. allow us to fulfill your order within the timeframe indicated for items in this category.

What is a Seiko Mod Watch?

The watch is a refurbished vintage Seiko watch with case and crystal that has been cleaned and buffed. This has been modified using brand new or reconditioned fully working parts from a 3rd party brand. Thus, the end product is a modified vintage Seiko watch with authentic case and core movement

What kind of watch am I buying?

All watches on our website are AUTOMATIC WATCHES. You do not wind an automatic watch.  Power comes from the rotor that rotates with the continued motion of the wearer’s wrist. Once you receive this you have to shake this from side to side continuously at least for 3-5 minutes. Reserve power lasts only 6- 12 hours or less.

The watch will stop if you do not wear it. Watch will lose + or – 5 mins each day or sometimes not at all. This is a refurbished vintage watch, not brand new.

What is Cerakote®?
Cerakote® is a state of the art firearms coating that provides a durable, weather- and corrosion-proof, ceramic-based protective finish that resists scratching and chipping.

Cerakote is a ceramic based finish that can be applied to metals, plastics, polymers and wood. The unique formulation used for Cerakote ceramic coating enhances a number of physical performance properties including abrasion/wear resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, impact strength, and hardness. Each of these properties is rigorously tested to guarantee that Cerakote products remain at the forefront of the ceramic coatings market. Cerakote ceramic coatings outperform competitive coatings in both laboratory settings and real world applications.

Cerakote process is very tedious and laborious, this adds up to the professional refurbishing of the base Seiko Divers watch which takes one week and a half. Cerakote process is done in USA.

Ordering and Payment

How do I order online?

The shopping cart of madmodworld.com   has been designed with a user friendly interface to provide you the best shopping experience.   Simply browse through our catalog of products and click on the “add to cart” button if you find a product that you like to purchase.   If you want to add more products to your shopping, just click on the “continue shopping” button.   From the shopping cart, you can also remove unwanted items or change the quantity of items.  Once you have finalized your purchase, just click on the “checkout” button.

What if I want to change my order after checkout?

If you have already made payment or completed your order, we can change your order if it has not yet been shipped. Click on the “Contact Us” link at the top menu of the page and submit a request on how to change your order.

Shipping

How do I change my shipping address?

We can change your shipping address only if the item(s) has not yet been shipped. Please contact us at info@madmodworld.com.com and use the email address that you provided when you originally made your purchase order.

Where do you ship from?  

All of our items are shipping from the USA.   For your convenience, we will provide you with a tracking number where you can check the status of your items.

Will I be taxed for the items I purchased when I receive them?

Based on our experience, you will not be charged for any duties or taxes if you’re a buyer within the US.   If buying outside the US, pls. take note that it is your responsibility as a customer to understand your country’s laws pertaining to the purchase and use of this product.  Any additional custom fees, duties and taxes that may be imposed by your country for your order shall be shouldered by the customer.

When will I know if my order has been shipped?

Upon checking out, you will receive an email confirmation stating that info@madmadworld.com has received your order and payment. An email with your order’s tracking information will arrive as soon as your order ships.    For items marked as “AVAILABLE”, you will receive a shipping notification within 24-48 after payment.  For items marked as “PRE-SALE”, you will receive a shipping notification after 3 weeks upon receipt of payment.

How can I track my shipment?

You will receive an email with your tracking number after your order has been shipped.

Returns and Exchanges

What are your policies for returns and exchanges?

If you are not 100% satisfied with the product/s you received, pls. return it within three (3) days upon receiving the item/s, provided it does not show signs of wear or damage.  We will refund you the full amount you paid for the item/s minus the shipping cost/s.  Shipping costs for returns are the buyer’s responsibility and will depend on your personal location.

For upgrades or exchanges, we will exchange or upgrade your product/s within 7 days upon receipt.  Pls. contact us immediately at info@madmodworld.com.   When returning or exchanging items, pls. ensure that your package is properly labelled with your original order number.   Pls. see the proper procedures for returns and exchanges.

I received a wrong or damaged product. What should I do?

I have still not received my item/s. What do I do?

If you have received a shipping notification from us and it has been more than 10 business days since the order has been placed and you still have not received it, contact us immediately at info@madmodworld.com.

What countries do you ship to?

We ship to major countries in the world. If your country is not included in the list of countries where we currently ship to, pls. contact us first.
